MEET BURNT ORANGE

Burnt Orange Theatre Co. is an award winning community interest theatre company working collaboratively, consciously and cleverly with young creatives in Hammersmith and Fulham and across London.

At Burnt Orange Theatre, we pride ourselves on being focused on and motivated by young people. Our company members are at the heart of everything we do, and we work collaboratively to provide real industry experience for young people in London.

AS A COMPANY WE AIM TO:

  • Create collaborative, innovative, youth-centred and youth-championing work

  • Engage with the theatrical community to provide an authentic industry experience to each company member

  • Act as facilitators to develop the visions and ideas of company members

ROSIE THOMAS

Rosie is a teacher, director and facilitator who currently works at ArtsEd.
Before teaching, she studied Drama at the University of Exeter, and worked in a huge variety of schools, hospitals and theatres, and on youth programmes across London and Devon. These included Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, NCS, Battersea Arts Centre, Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, and the Exeter Phoenix.
She is always inspired by the incredible talent, drive and resilience in young people, and is determined to make work which champions young people and puts them at the centre of the process and performance.
