ZEST: A Writer's Collective

​ZEST is a new writer's group beginning in September 2024, that places young writers at the centre and provides a weekly meeting space for development, learning and growth, facilitated by industry professionals. As part of the course and group, writers will develop a new idea or script for a showcase of their work in November 2024, directed by Ricochet Theatre, before continuing to develop work for future collaborations or further opportunities until December 2024. 

 

Participation in ZEST is free of charge to anyone aged 16-23.

We are looking for young and emerging writers who have not previously had a final version of their work staged at a fringe or professional level.

In order to apply, we ask you to complete the application form below and submit a small piece of writing (2-3 pages) to show us your style. This does not need to be connected to the sort of work you'd like to develop through the course, it just helps us understand you as a writer.
