Junior RiverScribes:
Spring Maker' Sessions
A new project created by Burnt Orange and Riverside Studios transforming traditional youth theatre into a revolutionary, celebratory development platform created with and for young artists.

Makers' Sessions are a series of workshops designed for anyone aged 16-21 equipping participants with the skills needed to collaborate, create and perform both as an individual and as part of an ensemble.
Embedded into the course is ‘Demystify’, our uniquely created support system which threads tailored industry insight and guidance into each session, including Q+As, deep dives, networking events, visiting professionals and more.
Rooted in the Burnt Orange ensemble philosophy and inspired by Open World facilitation, Makers' Sessions are responsive and reactive, adapting to suit the needs, interests and passions of participants. Each session you will have the opportunity to explore performing scripted work, writing, devising, directing and any other roles which may be of interest, developing everything you need to excel as a creative.
We will host a showcase at the end of term to celebrate the work created by particpants.
Upcoming Sessions
We encourage you to come along to every session to build and develop skills collaboratively as part of a creative ensemble.
