Young Riverscribes is our new take on a Young Company:

Regular, scheduled sessions hosted every fortnight at Riverside Studios. A combination of theatre making, creative performance and industry insight.

 

What is Young Riverscribes?

Young Riverscribes is a brand new version of a Young Company; a chance for anyone interested in performing and theatre making to have fun, challenge themselves and collaborate together. Young Riverscribes is a combination of classic young company skills sessions, and visiting professional workshops from partners including Drama schools, Casting agents, agencies and more. 

Sessions will support you developing skills and technique in voice, movement, character and text work. As part of the company you’ll be invited to perform at Burnt Orange scratch nights and upcoming projects. 

 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for anyone aged 14-21 to make up the company. Maybe you’re experienced or this is a brand new experience for you, or somewhere in between! Sessions will be tailored to all experience levels and we will be grateful for your energy, enthusiasm and excitement to work and build together as creatives.

 

Company members are encouraged to join as many sessions per term as possible, but there is no minimum attendance requirement. Some sessions will be capped to a limited number of participants. We’re so excited to meet you!

There is no audition necessary, and you are welcome to attend as many sessions as best suit you over the course of the term.
